Il y a plusieurs parties dans Gantry: La librairie, composant, plugin, et le template -- Et chacun d'eux dispose d'un processus de mise à jour similaire.

Il existe plusieurs méthodes pour rechercher de nouvelles mises à jour, la première est disponible à partir du Panneau de commande dans l'administration de Joomla. En dessous de la section Maintenance, Le terme Gantry5 - Update now! apparaît, Indiquant que des mises à jour sont disponibles. En cliquant sur cette ligne, vous serez dirigé vers la page de mis à jour du Gestionnaire d'extensions où vous verrez une liste filtrée des extensions de Gantry qui sont prêtes à être mises à jour.

Un autre indicateur qu'une mise à jour est disponible est l'affichage d'une notification dans l'administrateur de Gantry. Si une mise à jour du framework ou d'un thème sous gantry est disponible, une barre violette apparaîtra vous donnant la possibilité de Mettre à jour (vous envoyant ainsi vers la Page mise à jour du gestionnaire d'extensions) ou de fermer la notification.

Vous pouvez également accéder à Extensions → Gestion des extensions → Mises à jour, selectionner Trouver des mises à jour pour charger toutes les mises à jour disponibles, si elles ne sont pas déjà affichés. Vous pouvez sélectionner gantry et les tempaltes basés sur gantry énumérés ici et cliquez sur Mettre à jour. Gantry sera alors mis à jour directement depuis le Web.

Une autre méthode de mise à jour est similaire au processus initial d'installation de gantry. Vous devez seulement télécharger les derniers fichiers de gantry, et l'installer par Extensions → Gestion des extensions→ Installation. Sélectionnez le bouton Parcourir , recherchez le fichier ZIP téléchargé et cliquez sur Envoyer et installer pour commencer la mise à jour. Il n'est pas nécessaire de désinstaller d'abord puisque les fichiers seront mis à jour pendant le processus d'installation. Nous ne recommandons pas d'utiliser cette méthode en premier si vous disposez des autres méthodes, mais cela fonctionnera.

Vous pouvez vérifier si c'est la bonne version de gantry qui a été installée en accédant à Extensions → Gestion des extensions → Gestion, et en recherchant Gantry.

Le numéro de version s'affiche dans le tableau.
